Microsoft has announced a cheaper version of the Xbox Elite Series 2 controller. The Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 – Core costs $50 less than the normal Elite Series 2, and preorders are live now. The new Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 – Core (yes, that is its full name) comes in a white finish and costs $129.99/£114.99, compared to the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2, which retails at $179.99/£159.99.
